BIO
Kyle is a mixed media artist from Mechanicsburg, PA. He is a husband and a father of 3. At a very young age, he found a great interest in creating both visually and sonically. He attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he studied an eclectic assortment of mediums including electronic music, painting and woodworking. While at UArts, Kyle earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Since graduating he has continued to work as a musician and artist.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My work explores and personifies the less popular and more difficult aspects of life. The process involves approaching each piece with a broad idea and a visceral execution. The composition is a clear path from brain to hand. Allowing myself to function this way not only gives my work its essence but helps with the management in other aspects of life. Many of us have internal struggles. My pieces are an outward expression of these difficulties, and hopefully, a reminder that if you are struggling, you are not alone.
